"Moonlight on the path of longing" — a short treatise by Viśvanātha Cakravartī on rāgānugā bhakti, devotion moved not by the injunctions of scripture but by longing (*lobha*) for the feelings of the people of Vraja. The first part explains where this longing comes from, how it is served "in two bodies" — the aspirant's body and the body meditated within — and which of the usual practices help it and which hinder. The second speaks of Kṛṣṇa's sweetness (*mādhurya*) in Vraja, of why Rādhā remains "another's wife", and of how the loving devotee is born, after death, into Kṛṣṇa's play.
