译文

"Vyushitashva, o king, shone beyond all mortals, as the sun shines beyond all beings at winter's end. He, best of kings, having conquered and captured the kings of the east, the north, the central lands and the south, subdued them. In the great sacrifice of the ashvamedha the valorous Vyushitashva, lord of kings, was endowed with the strength of ten elephants. And of this those who know the ancient lore sing a gatha: 'Vyushitashva, having conquered this earth to the very edges of the ocean, protected all the estates, as a father protects his own sons.' Performing great sacrifices, he gave wealth to the brahmins; taking countless treasures, he offered great sacrifices, pressed much soma and performed the soma rites".
