एवं बहुविधं तस्यां विलपन्त्यां पुनः पुनः ॥
तं शवं संपरिष्वज्य वाक् किलान्तर्हिताब्रवीत् ॥
उत्तिष्ठ भद्रे गच्छ त्वं ददानीह वरं तव ॥
जनयिष्याम्य् अपत्यानि त्वय्य् अहं चारुहासिनि ॥
आत्मीये च वरारोहे शयनीये चतुर्दशीम् ॥
अष्टमीं वा ऋतुस्नाता संविशेथा मया सह ॥

译文

"When she wept in many ways, again and again, embracing that corpse, an unseen voice, they say, spoke: 'Rise, Bhadra, go; I shall grant you here your boon: I shall beget offspring upon you, o fair-smiling one. On your own bed, o fair-hipped one, on the fourteenth or eighth night, having bathed after the passing of your courses, lie with me'".
