Here the underwater hall blooms with every color and rings with the voices of birds. It is significant that even in the depths of the waters life and beauty show themselves in fullness: where the guardian of order reigns, even the hidden places are full of splendor. Thus scripture reveals beauty concealed within the depths; and next comes Varuna himself upon his throne.
