译文

And she, shaken by violence and by grief, the ascetic woman, fallen, wailed thus in the assembly, undeserving of such a fate: "I, whom kings saw only at the svayamvara, in the arena of contest, and never otherwise seen before -- have now been brought into the assembly! She whom neither wind nor sun had seen before in her own house -- is now beheld amid the assembly, in the gathering of the Kurus! She whose touch even the wind was not allowed before, in the house of the Pandavas -- is now endured being touched by a villain! These Kurus too endure it -- surely the age's time has turned perverse -- their own daughter-in-law and daughter, being tormented and undeserving of it!"
