译文

"Here, O king, shines that lake resounding with the twice-born. Here, together with your brothers, satisfy the ancestors and the gods. Having seen it, lord of the earth, and also Sikatakshu, come to Saindhavaranya and look upon the channels; in all the Pushkaras, great king, touch the water. Here is Archika mountain, the abode of the wise: it is ever fruitful, with ceaseless streams, the best place of the Maruts. Here, Yudhishthira, are many hundreds of shrines of the thirty gods. This is the tirtha of the Moon; the sages visit it, as do the sage-Vaikhanasas and the Valakhilyas. Here are three sacred peaks and three springs: go around them all and touch the water as you wish. Here, Kaunteya, King Shantanu, Shunaka, lord of men, and both Nara and Narayana attained the eternal abode. Here the gods, the ancestors, and the great sages ever dwelt in strict austerity; they performed tapas on Archika mountain, and you, Yudhishthira, should honor them. Here, lord of the people, the sages partook of the sacrificial offering; here the Yamuna flows in an unceasing stream, and Krishna is devoted to tapas."
