译文

O mighty-armed son of Gandhari, take every measure so that he may be pleased with you. What does Bhishma think of this?' At this, Bhishma and the others, applauding King Dhritarashtra's words, said, 'Excellent.' Then King Duryodhana, understanding their wishes, ordered delightful sites to be chosen for the erection of pavilions. Thereupon many pavilions, abounding in every kind of jewel, were built at fixed intervals and in delightful places. And the king sent there beautiful seats endowed with excellent qualities, beautiful maidens, perfumes and ornaments, fine garments, excellent foods, drinks of various kinds, and fragrant garlands of many varieties.
