अस्ति मे बलम् इत्य् एव सहसा त्वं तितीर्षसि ॥
सग्राहनक्रमकरं गङ्गावेगम् इवोष्णगे ॥
वास एव यथा हि त्वं प्रावृण्वानो ऽद्य मन्यसे ॥
स्रजं त्यक्ताम् इव प्राप्य लोभाद् यौधिष्ठिरीं श्रियम् ॥
द्रौपदीसहितं पार्थं सायुधैर् भ्रातृभिर् वृतम् ॥
वनस्थम् अपि राज्यस्थः पाण्डवं को ऽतिजीवति ॥
निदेशे यस्य राजानः सर्वे तिष्ठन्ति किंकराः ॥
तम् ऐलविलम् आसाद्य धर्मराजो व्यराजत ॥
कुबेरसदनं प्राप्य ततो रत्नान्य् अवाप्य च ॥
स्फीतम् आक्रम्य ते राष्ट्रं राज्यम् इच्छन्ति पाण्डवाः ॥

nideśe yasya rājānaḥ sarve tiṣṭhanti kiṃkarāḥ ||
tam ailavilam āsādya dharmarājo vyarājata ||
kuberasadanaṃ prāpya tato ratnāny avāpya ca ||
sphītam ākramya te rāṣṭraṃ rājyam icchanti pāṇḍavāḥ ||
"Thinking, 'I have strength,' you rashly wish to cross the torrent of the Ganga, full of predatory fish, crocodiles, and makaras, O hot-tempered one. Today, out of greed, you regard Yudhishthira's royal fortune as your own, like a man putting on someone else's garment or picking up a discarded garland. Who, even seated upon a throne, could outlive the Pandava, when Partha — even while dwelling in the forest — is surrounded by Draupadi and his armed brothers? Dharmaraja shone forth on reaching Ailavila, Kubera, at whose command all kings stand as obedient servants. Having visited Kubera's abode and obtained treasures there, the Pandavas now desire sovereignty over your prosperous kingdom."
