译文

“The wind would sooner carry off Meru, or the sky fall upon the earth, or the world-age turn over, were it as you say about me. Who, desiring to live, having faced the weapon of these two crushers of foes — elephant, horse, or man — would return home safe again? How could one whom these two have marked as a target, or who has touched their terrible weapon, escape alive from battle while still treading the earth with his foot? You are like a frog in a well: you do not understand this assembled royal army, unassailable, shining like the host of the gods, guarded by kings as heaven is guarded by the celestials.”
