चित्रायुधश् च नृपतिर् मतो मे रथसत्तमः ॥
स हि संग्रामशोभी च भक्तश् चापि किरीटिनः ॥
चेकितानः सत्यधृतिः पाण्डवानां महारथौ ॥
द्वाव् इमौ पुरुषव्याघ्रौ रथोदारौ मतौ मम ॥
व्याघ्रदत्तश् च राजेन्द्र चन्द्रसेनश् च भारत ॥
मतौ मम रथोदारौ पाण्डवानां न संशयः ॥
सेनाबिन्दुश् च राजेन्द्र क्रोधहन्ता च नामतः ॥
यः समो वासुदेवेन भीमसेनेन चाभिभूः ॥
स योत्स्यतीह विक्रम्य समरे तव सैनिकैः ॥
मां द्रोणं च कृपं चैव यथा संमन्यते भवान् ॥
तथा स समरश्लाघी मन्तव्यो रथसत्तमः ॥
vārdhakṣemir mahārāja ratho mama mahān mataḥ ||
citrāyudhaś ca nṛpatir mato me rathasattamaḥ ||
sa hi saṃgrāmaśobhī ca bhaktaś cāpi kirīṭinaḥ ||
cekitānaḥ satyadhṛtiḥ pāṇḍavānāṃ mahārathau ||
dvāv imau puruṣavyāghrau rathodārau matau mama ||
vyāghradattaś ca rājendra candrasenaś ca bhārata ||
matau mama rathodārau pāṇḍavānāṃ na saṃśayaḥ ||
senābinduś ca rājendra krodhahantā ca nāmataḥ ||
yaḥ samo vāsudevena bhīmasenena cābhibhūḥ ||
sa yotsyatīha vikramya samare tava sainikaiḥ ||
māṃ droṇaṃ ca kṛpaṃ caiva yathā saṃmanyate bhavān ||
tathā sa samaraślāghī mantavyo rathasattamaḥ ||
Vardhakshemi, O great king, is in my judgment a great ratha; and king Chitrayudha, in my judgment, is the best of ratha warriors: he adorns the battle and is devoted to Kiritin. Chekitana and Satyadhriti are two maharathas of the Pandavas; these two tigers among men are, in my judgment, noble ratha warriors. Vyaghradatta and Chandrasena, O lord of kings, O Bharata, are without doubt, in my judgment, noble ratha warriors of the Pandavas. Senabindu and Krodhahanta by name, O lord of kings, are equal to Vasudeva and Bhimasena, and are surpassing; he will advance here, fighting in the battle among your soldiers. As you regard me, Drona, and Kripa, so too should he -- glorious in battle -- be regarded as the best of ratha warriors.
