译文

"Father, here is the son of Pandu with white horses, whose charioteer is Krishna, burning all my men as fire burns a forest. Look, Gangeya, how the hosts flee on every side, driven in the fray by the Pandava, foremost of warriors. As a herdsman drives his herds of animals through the forest, so my army is being driven, O scorcher of foes. Broken by Dhananjaya's arrows, it flees this way and that. This unassailable Bhima scatters my forces. Satyaki, Chekitana, the two Pandavas born of Madri, and the valiant Abhimanyu burn my army. Heroic Dhrishtadyumna and the mighty rakshasa Ghatotkacha have suddenly routed my host. With my army being slaughtered by all these mighty warriors, O Bharata, I see no other course, neither in holding my ground nor in battle, but for you, tiger among men, whose valor equals that of the gods. You alone can suffice — swiftly become a refuge for the afflicted."
