Translation

When the people had departed, Yudhishthira said to his brothers: 'For twelve years we must dwell in a lonely forest. Find in the wilderness a place rich in beasts, birds, flowers, and fruits, favorable for righteous people.' Arjuna answered with reverence: 'You have served the great rishis, Dvaipayana, Narada, and others, and there is nothing in the human world that you do not know. Wherever you wish to live, there we shall settle. I favor Dvaitavana — a holy, beautiful place with a lake, flowers, fruits, and many birds. If you agree, let us spend these twelve years there.' Yudhishthira said: 'I think the same. Let us go to the holy lake Dvaitavana.'
