यमौ च भीमसेनश् च कृष्णा चामित्रकर्शन ॥
सर्वे चात्र गमिष्यामः सुकृशाः सुतपस्विनः ॥
एतत् प्रस्रवणं पुण्यम् इन्द्रस्य मनुजाधिप ॥
यत्र धाता विधाता च वरुणश् चोर्ध्वम् आगताः ॥
इह ते न्यवसन् राजन् क्षान्ताः परमधर्मिणः ॥
मैत्राणाम् ऋजुबुद्धीनाम् अयं गिरिवरः शुभः ॥
एषा सा यमुना राजन् राजर्षिगणसेविता ॥
नानायज्ञचिता राजन् पुण्या पापभयापहा ॥
अत्र राजा महेष्वासो मान्धातायजत स्वयम् ॥
सहदेवश् च कौन्तेय सोमको ददतां वरः ॥
yamau ca bhīmasenaś ca kṛṣṇā cāmitrakarśana ||
sarve cātra gamiṣyāmaḥ sukṛśāḥ sutapasvinaḥ ||
etat prasravaṇaṃ puṇyam indrasya manujādhipa ||
yatra dhātā vidhātā ca varuṇaś cordhvam āgatāḥ ||
iha te nyavasan rājan kṣāntāḥ paramadharmiṇaḥ ||
maitrāṇām ṛjubuddhīnām ayaṃ girivaraḥ śubhaḥ ||
eṣā sā yamunā rājan rājarṣigaṇasevitā ||
nānāyajñacitā rājan puṇyā pāpabhayāpahā ||
atra rājā maheṣvāso māndhātāyajata svayam ||
sahadevaś ca kaunteya somako dadatāṃ varaḥ ||
"Yamuna, Bhimasena, Krishna, O scourge of foes, and all of us will go there, worn thin and strict in tapas. Here is the sacred spring of Indra, lord of men, where Dhata, Vidhata, and Varuna ascended on high. Here they dwelt, O king, patient and supremely righteous; this is the fair and finest mountain of the friendly and upright-minded. Here is that Yamuna, O king, served by hosts of royal sages, marked by many sacrifices, holy, removing the fear of sin. Here the great archer King Mandhatri himself performed sacrifice, as did Sahadeva Kaunteya and Somaka, best of givers."
