Translation

Then Brihaspati, accompanied by gods, sages, and gandharvas, went and praised the slayer of Bala, recalling his former deeds. And he said: 'O Indra, the great asura Namuchi was slain by you; and these two asuras of dreadful might as well, namely Shambara and Bala. Grow strong, O performer of a hundred sacrifices, and slay all your enemies. Rise up, O Indra! Behold, the gods and sages have gathered here. O Indra, O great lord, by slaying the asuras you delivered the worlds. Taking hold of the foam of the waters, strengthened by the power of Vishnu, you once slew Vritra. You are the refuge of all beings and are glorious. There is no being equal to you. All beings, O Indra, are sustained by you. You brought about the glory of the gods. Save everyone, together with the worlds, by taking up your strength, O great Indra.'
