आर्यव्रतं तु जानन्तः संगरान् न बिभित्सवः ॥
सेनामुखेषु स्थास्यन्ति मामकानां नरर्षभाः ॥
बलीयः सर्वतो दिष्टं पुरुषस्य विशेषतः ॥
पश्यन्न् अपि जयं तेषां न नियच्छामि यत् सुतान् ॥
ते पुराणं महेष्वासा मार्गम् ऐन्द्रं समास्थिताः ॥
त्यक्ष्यन्ति तुमुले प्राणान् रक्षन्तः पार्थिवं यशः ॥
यथैषां मामकास् तात तथैषां पाण्डवा अपि ॥
पौत्रा भीष्मस्य शिष्याश् च द्रोणस्य च कृपस्य च ॥
यत् त्व् अस्मद् आश्रयं किं चिद् दत्तम् इष्टं च संजय ॥
तस्यापचितिम् आर्यत्वात् कर्तारः स्थविरास् त्रयः ॥

tasyāpacitim āryatvāt kartāraḥ sthavirās trayaḥ ||
The lord of Kashi, a mighty warrior on chariots ruling over Varanasi, has become their ally; with him the Pandavas will fight against you. The noble-hearted sons of Draupadi, tender in years yet unconquerable in battle and unapproachable as venomous serpents, together with them the Pandavas will fight against you. He who is like Krishna in energy and like Yudhishthira in self-restraint — together with this Abhimanyu, the Pandavas will fight against you. This warlike son of Shishupala, the renowned Dhrishtaketu, who is beyond compare in strength and who, when enraged, cannot be withstood in battle — together with that king of Chedi, who has joined the Pandavas at the head of his own akshauhini, the sons of Pandu will fight against you.
