Translation

'O son of Kunti, at the end of the kalpa all beings enter My prakriti, and at the beginning of the kalpa I send them forth again. Resting upon My own prakriti, I bring forth again and again this whole multitude of beings, helpless under the sway of nature. But these actions do not bind Me, O Dhananjaya: I remain as if indifferent, unattached to these deeds. Under My supervision prakriti brings forth the moving and the unmoving; for this reason, O son of Kunti, the world revolves.'
