थान्यद् नुर् दा कृर्मा हाथः
ञ्चभिः साकैस् तूर्णं विव्याधोसि भा
पुनश् निशितैर् बाणैः पार्थं विव्या ञ्चभिः
तं पार्थो भिर् बाणैर् घा स्तनान्तरे

athānyad dhanur āya kṛtavarmā marathaḥ ||
pañcabhiḥ yakais tūrṇaṃ vivyādhorasi bhārata ||
punaś ca niśitair bāṇaiḥ rthaṃ vivyādha pañcabhiḥ ||
taṃ rtho navabhir bāṇair ājaghāna stantare ||

Translation

Then, taking up another bow, Kritavarman, the mighty charioteer, swiftly pierced him in the chest, O Bharata, with five arrows. And again he pierced Partha with five sharp arrows; him Partha struck in the chest with nine arrows.
