तेषां श्रमं ग्लानिं वेथुं थुं व्रणान्
र्वं व्यपानुदत् कृष्णः कुलो ह्य् श्वर्मणि
ल्यान् द्धृत्य पाणिभ्यां रिमृज्य तान् यान्
पावृत्य थान्यायं पायाम् वारि सः

teṣāṃ śramaṃ ca glāniṃ ca vepathuṃ vamathuṃ vraṇān ||
sarvaṃ vyanudat kṛṣṇaḥ kuśalo hy aśvakarmaṇi ||
śalyān uddhṛtya ṇibhyāṃ parimṛjya ca n hayān ||
uvṛtya yathānyāyaṃ yam āsa ri saḥ ||

Translation

Their weariness and exhaustion, trembling, foam, and wounds — all this Krishna removed, for he is skilled in horse-craft. Having drawn out the arrows with his hands and wiped down those horses, having tended them as is proper, he gave them water to drink.
