दृष्ट्वा दुर्योधनो राजा संतप्स्यति महामृधे ॥
अद्य स्नेहं च भक्तिं च पाण्डवेषु महात्मसु ॥
हत्वा राजसहस्राणि दर्शयिष्यामि राजसु ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

adya rājasahasrāṇi nihatāni mayā raṇe ||
dṛṣṭvā duryodhano rājā saṃtapsyati mahāmṛdhe ||
adya snehaṃ ca bhaktiṃ ca pāṇḍaveṣu mahātmasu ||
hatvā rājasahasrāṇi darśayiṣyāmi rājasu ||

Translation

"Today, having seen thousands of kings slain by me in battle, king Duryodhana shall grieve in the great battle. Today, having slain thousands of kings, I shall show [before] the kings [my] love and devotion [to] the Pandavas, great in soul."
