द्रोणानीकम् तिक्रान्तं भोजानीकं दुस्तरम्
संधार्णवं तीर्त्वा काम्बोजानां वाहिनीम्
हार्दिक्यरान् मुक्तं तीर्णं वै सैन्यसारम्
रिव्रुः सुसंक्रुद्धास् त्वदीयाः सात्यकिं थाः

droṇākam atikrāntaṃ bhokaṃ ca dustaram ||
jalasaṃdhārṇavaṃ rtvā mbonāṃ ca hinīm ||
rdikyamakan muktaṃ rṇaṃ vai sainyagaram ||
parivavruḥ susaṃkruddhās tvayāḥ tyakiṃ rathāḥ ||

त्वदीयाः सात्यकिम् रथाःtvadīyāḥ sātyakim rathāḥyour chariots [surrounded] Sātyaki; your chariots [closed in] upon Sātyaki
Translation

Having passed through Droṇa's array and the impassable array of Bhoja, having crossed the ocean of Jalasaṃdha and the host of the Kambojas, freed [from] the crocodile Hārdikya, having crossed the sea of the army — Sātyaki was surrounded by your greatly enraged chariots.
