यच् विक्षोभ्य तीं सेनां संलोड्य चाकृत्
कः प्रविष्टः संक्रुद्धो लिनीम् कुञ्जरः
स्य वृष्णिप्रवीस्य ब्रूहि युद्धं थाथम्
नंयार्थे यत् स्य कुलो ह्य् सि सं

yac ca vikṣobhya mahatīṃ senāṃ saṃloḍya sakṛt ||
ekaḥ praviṣṭaḥ saṃkruddho nalim iva kuñjaraḥ ||
tasya vṛṣṇiprarasya brūhi yuddhaṃ yathātatham ||
dhanaṃjarthe yat tasya kuśalo hy asi saṃjaya ||

Translation

"And of that — how, having stirred the great army and churned it repeatedly, he entered it alone, enraged, like an elephant into a lotus pond — tell me the battle of that hero of the Vrishnis [Satyaki], as it truly was, the battle he waged for Dhananjaya's sake; for you are skilled in this, Sanjaya."
