"Then in the great, dreadful forest, Bhimasena, terrible in might, slew in anger the rakshasa named Hidimba, felling him to the ground. And those heroes, vanquishers of foes, together with their mother, having taken on the guise of brahmins, went then to the town of Ekachakra. There, for the sake of a brahmin, having slain the mighty rakshasa Baka, they went, together with the brahmins, to the city of the Panchalas. There, having won Draupadi as their wife and having dwelt there about a year, having become known, they returned, those tamers of foes, to Hastinapura. King Dhritarashtra and the descendant of Shantanu (Bhishma) said to them: "May there be no strife, dear ones, between you and your brothers; we have devised for you a dwelling in Khandavaprastha. Therefore, laying aside your anger, go to dwell in Khandavaprastha, a land furnished with settlements and well-marked great roads." And they, at the word of those two, together with all their friends, taking with them every kind of treasure, went to the city of Khandavaprastha."
