Traducción

Satyavati said: 'Saying "so be it," she, entering, said to her daughter-in-law: "O Ambika, because of the misconduct of your son Dhritarashtra, the Bharatas will perish together with their offspring, and our grandsons too, as we have heard. Therefore, taking with us this grieving Kausalya, tormented by grief for her son, let us go to the forest, may it be well for you, if you agree." When Ambika said "so be it," the woman of firm vows, having informed Bhishma, Satyavati went to the forest with her two daughters-in-law, O Bharata. Those virtuous women, having performed the severest austerity, O best of the Bharatas, having given up the body, attained the desired destination.'
