संपूजितश् चाप्य् असकृच् छिरसा चाभिवादितः ॥
ताम् अनुज्ञाप्य वार्ष्णेयः प्रतिनन्द्य च भामिनीम् ॥
ददर्शानन्तरं कृष्णां धौम्यं चापि जनार्दनः ॥

Here the farewells proceed in turn, passing no one by. It is significant that the Lord accepts His sister's messages to her kin — He does not disregard even the small errand of a loving heart. This reveals His accessibility: the great one stoops to the concerns of those dear to Him. Thus scripture shows Krishna's attentiveness to each person; and He now turns to the priest and to Draupadi.
