Traducción

And, O king, O son of Pandu, from the mouth with which he gazed upon all the quarters as though drinking them in, there issued forth a multitude of quails. And from the maw of the three-headed being, which drank wine, there flew out a multitude of sparrows and hawks. And, having cut off the heads, Indra was freed from his dread and departed for the heavens, rejoicing in his heart. And the carpenter too returned to his home. And the slayer of the Asuras, having killed his enemy, considered his purpose accomplished. Now, when Tvashtri, lord of creatures, heard that his son had been slain by Indra, his eyes reddened with fury, and he spoke the following words: 'Since Indra has slain my son, who committed no crime, who was constantly engaged in austerities, who was merciful, possessed of self-control and subdued passions, therefore, for the destruction of Indra, I shall create Vritra.'
