Traducción

Then the purohita arrived at Drupada's city. The king of Panchala, O king, together with Shikhandin, offered him a cow and an honorable gift with great respect. But he did not accept this honor, and spoke these words, uttered by the heroic king Kanchana-varman: "O man of base conduct, for your daughter's sake you deceived me in the matter of my own daughter. For committing this sin, receive its fruit, O evil-minded one. Give me battle today, O lord of men, on the field of war. I will at once root you out together with your ministers, sons, and kin." Such a reproachful speech the earthly lord heard among his counselors from the purohita, the envoy of the lord of Dashārna.
