Traducción

The yakshas said: 'O king, a daughter, Shikhandini, was born to King Drupada. For a certain reason Sthuna gave her the mark of a man and himself took on that of a woman. Having become a woman, he stays at home and does not come before you, for he is ashamed and bears a woman's form. For this reason, O king, Sthuna does not appear before you today. Having heard this, act according to what is right, while your celestial chariot still stands here.' Bhishma said: 'Then the lord of the yakshas said, "Let Sthuna be brought. I will punish him," repeating this again and again. Summoned, he came before the king of the yakshas, O lord of the earth; in a woman's form he stood, filled with shame, O great king.'
