वासुदेवश् च भूतानां चक्राणां च सुदर्शनम् ॥
चत्वार्य् एतानि तेजांसि वहञ् श्वेतहयो रथः ॥
परेषाम् अग्रतस् तस्थौ कालचक्रम् इवोद्यतम् ॥

Traducción
Among archers Arjuna is the foremost, Gandiva the foremost of bows, Vasudeva [Krishna] the foremost of beings, and Sudarshana the foremost of throwing discs. Bearing these four seats of brilliant power, the white-horsed chariot stood in front, before the enemies, like the upraised wheel of Time.

Four summits converge on a single chariot — the finest warrior, the finest bow, the finest of beings, and the finest disc — displaying a fullness of power that nothing can withstand. But the center of all four is 'Vasudeva, the foremost of beings': not a weapon or a warrior, but the Lord Himself is the axis around which invincibility is gathered. The chariot, 'like the upraised wheel of Time,' proclaims that upon it rides the very fate of the unrighteous: Time strikes them through the hand of a devotee guided by God. The verse teaches that the highest weapon and the highest valor become unconquerable only in union with the Supreme; and that where the Lord mounts the chariot of His devotee, the outcome is already sealed — this is the wheel of Time, upraised over lawlessness.
