भुक्तपूर्वां स्त्रियं ये निन्दताम् शंसिनाम्
ब्रह्मघ्नानां ये लोका ये गोघातिनाम् पि
पासं वा वान्नं वा शाकं कृरम् वा
संयावापूमांसानि ये लोका वृथाश्नताम्
तान् ह्नैवाधिच्छेयं चेद् न्यां द्रथम्
वेदाध्यायिनम् त्यर्थं संशितं वा द्विजोत्तमम्
न्यमानो यान् याति वृद्धान् साधूंस् था गुरून्

bhuktarvāṃ striyaṃ ye ca nindam aghaśaṃsinām ||
brahmaghnānāṃ ca ye lo ye ca goghātim api ||
yasaṃ yannaṃ śākaṃ kṛsaram eva ||
saṃpamāṃni ye ca lo vṛthāśnatām ||
n ahnaidhigaccheyaṃ na ced dhanyāṃ jayadratham ||
vedhyāyinam atyarthaṃ saṃśitaṃ dvijottamam ||
avamanyano n yāti vṛddhān sādhūṃs tathā gurūn ||

शाकम् कृसरम् एव वाśākam kṛsaram eva vāvegetables or krisara [porridge with sesame]; vegetables or krisara
संयावापूपमांसानिsaṃyāvāpūpamāṃsānisamyava cakes, fritters, and meat; pastries, fritters, meat
ये च लोकाः वृथा अश्नताम्ye ca lokāḥ vṛthā aśnatāmand the worlds of those who eat [this] in vain [without the rite]; the fates of those who eat [this] to no purpose
वेदाध्यायिनम् अत्यर्थम्vedādhyāyinam atyarthamof the diligent reciter of the Vedas; of the zealous reciter of the Vedas
संशितम् वा द्विजोत्तमम्saṃśitam vā dvijottamamor the ascetic best of the twice-born; or the austere brahmin
अवमन्यमानः यान् यातिavamanyamānaḥ yān yātione who scorns [them], to what [fate] he goes; one who scorns, to what [worlds] he goes
वृद्धान् साधून् तथा गुरून्vṛddhān sādhūn tathā gurūnelders, the righteous, and teachers; elders, the good, and gurus
Traducción

"...and of those who defame a former wife, of calumniators who speak evil; and [where lie] the worlds of killers of brahmins and cows; and the fates of those who eat milk porridge, barley fare, vegetables, krisara, cakes, fritters, and meat to no purpose, without the due rite; to what fate goes the one who scorns a zealous reciter of the Vedas, or an austere brahmin, elders, the righteous, and teachers..."
