सौत्तिं त्रिभिर् विद्ध्वा ल्यं भिः रैः
शितैर् ग्निशिखाकारैर् द्रौणिं विव्या चाष्टभिः
गौमं ञ्चविंत्या शैन्धवं ते
पुनर् द्रौणिं प्तत्या राणां सो ऽभ्यतायत्

punar drauṇiṃ ca saptatyā śaṇāṃ so 'bhyaḍayat ||

Traducción

Having pierced the son of Somadatta [Bhurishravas] with three arrows, and Shalya with ten sharp arrows resembling tongues of flame, he pierced the son of Drona as well with eight; Gautama [Kripa] with twenty-five, and the Sindhu king [Jayadratha] with a full hundred, and again he struck the son of Drona with seventy arrows.
