अथास्य सूतस्य शिरो निकृत्य; भल्लेन वज्राशनिसंनिभेन ॥
सुदर्शनस्यापि शिनिप्रवीरः; क्षुरेण चिच्छेद शिरः प्रसह्य ॥
सकुण्डलं पूर्णशशिप्रकाशं; भ्राजिष्णु वक्त्रं निचकर्त देहात् ॥
यथा पुरा वज्रधरः प्रसह्य; बलस्य संख्ये ऽतिबलस्य राजन् ॥

Traducción

Then, having severed his charioteer's head with a broad-headed arrow resembling a thunderbolt, the hero of Shini also, by force, cut off Sudarshana's head with a razor-arrow. Adorned with earrings, resembling the full moon, he severed the radiant face from the body, as of old the thunderbolt-bearer [Indra] by force [severed the head] of Bala, the exceedingly mighty one, in battle, O king.
