स तान् रथवरान् राजन्न् अभ्यतिक्रामद् अर्जुनः ॥
मोहयन्न् इव नाराचैर् जयद्रथवधेप्सया ॥
विसृजन् दिक्षु सर्वासु शरान् असितसारथिः ॥
स रणे व्यचरत् तूर्णं प्रेक्षणीयो धनंजयः ॥
भ्रमन्त इव शूरस्य शरव्राता महात्मनः ॥
अदृश्यन्तान्तरिक्षस्थाः शतशो ऽथ सहस्रशः ॥

visṛjan dikṣu sarvāsu śarān asitasārathiḥ ||
sa raṇe vyacarat tūrṇaṃ prekṣaṇīyo dhanaṃjayaḥ ||
bhramanta iva śūrasya śaravrātā mahātmanaḥ ||
adṛśyantāntarikṣasthāḥ śataśo 'tha sahasraśaḥ ||

Traducción

He, Arjuna, surpassed and passed by those best warriors, O king, as if bewildering them with narachas, desiring to kill Jayadratha. Hurling arrows in every direction, he whose charioteer is dark [Krishna], raced swiftly through the battle, Dhananjaya worthy of the gaze. The streams of arrows of the great-souled hero, as if whirling, were seen hanging suspended in the sky, by hundreds and thousands.
