पूर्वम् एव हि कृष्णस्य मनोगतम् इदं प्रभो ॥
विजेतव्यो यथा वीरः सात्यकिर् यूपकेतुना ॥
अतीतानागतं राजन् स हि वेत्ति जनार्दनः ॥
अतः सूतं समाहूय दारुकं संदिदेश ह ॥
रथो मे युज्यतां काल्यम् इति राजन् महाबलः ॥
न हि देवा न गन्धर्वा न यक्षोरगराक्षसाः ॥
मानवा वा विजेतारः कृष्णयोः सन्ति के चन ॥
पितामहपुरोगाश् च देवाः सिद्धाश् च तं विदुः ॥
तयोः प्रभावम् अतुलं शृणु युद्धं च तद् यथा ॥

mānavā vā vijetāraḥ kṛṣṇayoḥ santi ke cana ||
pitāmahapurogāś ca devāḥ siddhāś ca taṃ viduḥ ||

"For even before this, O lord, it was in Krishna's mind how the hero Satyaki might be overcome by Yupaketu [Bhurishravas]. Past and future, O king, Janardana indeed knows. Hence, having summoned the charioteer, he commanded Daruka: 'For neither gods, nor gandharvas, nor yakshas, serpents, rakshasas, nor men are there any victors over the two Krishnas.' And the gods, with the Grandsire foremost, and the siddhas, know this — the incomparable power of those two; hear that battle, as it was."
