चिक्षेपाविध्य वेगेन दुर्योधनरथं प्रति ॥
ततः सा सहसा वाहांस् तव पुत्रस्य संयुगे ॥
सारथिं च गदा गुर्वी ममर्द भरतर्षभ ॥
पुत्रस् तु तव राजेन्द्र रथाद् धेमपरिष्कृतात् ॥
आप्लुतः सहसा यानं नन्दकस्य महात्मनः ॥
ततो भीमो हतं मत्वा तव पुत्रं महारथम् ॥
सिंहनादं महच् चक्रे तर्जयन्न् इव कौरवान् ॥

cikṣepāvidhya vegena duryodhanarathaṃ prati ||
tataḥ sā sahasā vāhāṃs tava putrasya saṃyuge ||
sārathiṃ ca gadā gurvī mamarda bharatarṣabha ||
putras tu tava rājendra rathād dhemapariṣkṛtāt ||
āplutaḥ sahasā yānaṃ nandakasya mahātmanaḥ ||

Traducción

Then Bhima, O great king, swung a heavy, radiant mace with speed and hurled it at Duryodhana's chariot. Then it, all at once, crushed the horses of your son in that encounter, and the charioteer too — that heavy mace, O bull among the Bharatas. But your son, O lord of kings, leapt suddenly from his gold-adorned chariot onto the car of great-souled Nandaka. Then Bhima, thinking your son, the great chariot-warrior, had been slain, let out a great lion-roar, as though menacing the Kauravas.
