"Drona -- [enraged] from the death of Saumadatti [Bhuri] and inflamed [by the death] of Saindhava [Jayadratha], having scorned life out of indignation, cutting into the army like a yawning tiger, like Antaka with jaws agape -- how did the Pandavas and Srinjayas meet Drona as he shot? And who guarded the teacher, with Duryodhana at their head -- Drauni, Karna, Kripa, my son -- what did they do in the battle? Those eager to slay Drona -- Savyasachin [Arjuna] and Vrikodara [Bhima] -- how did mine meet them in battle, tell me, Sanjaya. These -- from the death of the king of Sindhu, those -- from the death of Ghatotkacha, indignant, greatly enraged -- how did they wage battle in the night?"
