"Waves of the Nectar of Hymns" — Viśvanātha Cakravartī's collected prayers: 28 hymns and poems. Here are aṣṭakas to the guru and the teachers of his line — Narottama, Lokanātha, Gaṅgā-nārāyaṇa — praises of Śrī Caitanya, of the deities of Vṛndāvana — Gopāla, Madana-gopāla, Govinda, Gopīnātha — of Rādhā, Vṛndā-devī and the holy places of Vraja; and beside them longer poems: the Wish-Tree of Resolves, the Garland of Praises of the Grove Play, the Nectar of Love Talk and songs. The first aṣṭaka, Śrī Gurv-aṣṭaka, is still sung every morning in Gauḍīya temples.
