ततस् ते ब्राह्मणाः सर्वे क्षत्रियाश् च सुविस्मिताः ॥
वैश्याः शूद्राश् च मुदिताश् चक्रुर् ब्रह्ममहं तदा ॥
ततो जानपदाः सर्वे आजग्मुर् नगरं प्रति ॥
तद् अद्भुततमं द्रष्टुं पार्थास् तत्रैव चावसन् ॥

अनुवाद
"Then all those brahmins and kshatriyas, greatly astonished, and the vaishyas and shudras, rejoicing, held a brahma-festival; and all the villagers flocked to the city to look upon that most wondrous sight — while the Parthas continued to dwell there as before."

Here deliverance unites all classes in joy. It is significant that brahmins, kshatriyas, vaishyas, and shudras celebrate together: shared salvation erases division, and the good bestowed on one embraces all. True benefaction is universal: where evil oppressed everyone without distinction, there deliverance unites everyone as kin. Significant too is the closing word: the Parthas "continued to dwell there" — those who wrought the miracle remain unknown, unseen among the rejoicing crowd. Thus the scripture shows the fullness of the fruit: the whole land rejoices without knowing its deliverers; and the hidden heroes share in the common joy, seeking for themselves neither bow nor praise.
