अनुवाद

The brahmin said: 'Near Gangadvara there lived a great sage, a great ascetic, Bharadvaja, the wise, ever firm in his vows. Going to the Ganga to bathe, he saw there the apsaras Ghritachi, who had bathed and arrived before him; the wind on the bank tore away her garment, and seeing her stripped of her covering, the sage desired her. In him, whose mind clung to her, though a brahmacharin from childhood, seed spilled forth in his excitement; that the sage placed into a trough (drona). From that was born Drona, the son of that wise sage; he studied the Vedas and Vedangas in their entirety.'
