पितामहं नमस्कृत्य तद्वाक्यम् अभिनन्द्य च ॥
निर्ममे योषितं दिव्यां चिन्तयित्वा प्रयत्नतः ॥
त्रिषु लोकेषु यत् किं चिद् भूतं स्थावरजङ्गमम् ॥
समानयद् दर्शनीयं तत् तद् यत्नात् ततस् ततः ॥
कोटिशश् चापि रत्नानि तस्या गात्रे न्यवेशयत् ॥
तां रत्नसंघातमयीम् असृजद् देवरूपिणीम् ॥

निर्ममे योषितं दिव्यां चिन्तयित्वा प्रयत्नतःnirmame yoṣitaṃ divyāṃ cintayitvā prayatnataḥhe fashioned a divine woman, having pondered her carefully;
त्रिषु लोकेषु यत् किं चित् भूतं स्थावरजङ्गमम्triṣu lokeṣu yat kiṃ cit bhūtaṃ sthāvarajaṅgamamwhatever there is of beauty in the three worlds — unmoving or moving —
समानयत् दर्शनीयं तत् तत् यत्नात् ततः ततःsamānayat darśanīyaṃ tat tat yatnāt tataḥ tataḥthat loveliness of hers he diligently gathered from everywhere;
कोटिशः च अपि रत्नानि तस्याः गात्रे न्यवेशयत्koṭiśaḥ ca api ratnāni tasyāḥ gātre nyaveśayatand countless jewels he set into her body,

"Having bowed to the Grandsire and welcomed that word, Vishvakarma fashioned a divine woman, having pondered her carefully; whatever there is of beauty in the three worlds — unmoving or moving — that loveliness of hers he diligently gathered from everywhere; and countless jewels he set into her body, creating her, as though made of a mass of gems, godlike in form."
