किम् इदं साहसं भीरु कृतवत्य् असि भामिनि ॥
कश् चायं सुभगो देशः का च त्वं कस्य चात्मजा ॥

Here the hero preserves his courtesy even amid the unexpected. It is telling that Arjuna, carried off by force, does not grow angry but gently asks questions: the noble meet the strange with calm and courtesy. Here is the self-restraint and graciousness of the righteous. Thus the scripture reveals Arjuna's composure; and his question opens Ulupi's lips.
