देवनागरी
ममैषा भगिनी पार्थ सारणस्य सहोदरा ॥
यदि ते वर्तते बुद्धिर् वक्ष्यामि पितरं स्वयम् ॥

Here the Lord Himself undertakes to arrange his friend's marriage. It is significant that Krishna proposes, "I myself will speak to father" — the Lord not only knows the devotee's desire but takes its fulfillment upon Himself. The Lord Himself arranges the good of His own, making their concerns His own. Thus scripture shows Krishna's active love; and He gives his friend his own sister, sealing their bond with kinship.
