अर्जुन उवाच
कृतम् एव त्वया सर्वं स्वस्ति गच्छ महासुर ॥
प्रीतिमान् भव मे नित्यं प्रीतिमन्तो वयं च ते ॥

Here Arjuna asks nothing in return for having saved Maya. It is significant that the noble one saves without seeking reward and dismisses him with nothing more than a wish for mutual goodwill: selflessness is the seal of true valor. Thus scripture shows the generosity of the warrior; and Maya, not content with being simply released, insists on giving a gift.
