अलं तस्य महाबाहुर् भीमसेनो महाबलः ॥
लोकस्य समुदीर्णस्य निधनायान्तको यथा ॥
यदि ते हृदयं वेत्ति यदि ते प्रत्ययो मयि ॥
भीमसेनार्जुनौ शीघ्रं न्यासभूतौ प्रयच्छ मे ॥

निधनाय अन्तकः यथाnidhanāya antakaḥ yathāfor its destruction -- Antaka [Death];
यदि ते हृदयम् वेत्तिyadi te hṛdayam vettiif your heart knows [me],
यदि ते प्रत्ययः मयिyadi te pratyayaḥ mayiif you have faith in me,

अनुवाद

"For him, mighty-armed, mighty-strengthed Bhimasena is enough -- as Antaka [Death] is for the destruction of a world grown insolent at the [hour] of dissolution. If your heart knows [me], if you have faith in me -- quickly entrust Bhimasena and Arjuna to me as a pledge."
