ततः काश्मीरकान् वीरान् क्षत्रियान् क्षत्रियर्षभः ॥
व्यजयल् लोहितं चैव मण्डलैर् दशभिः सह ॥
ततस् त्रिगर्तान् कौन्तेयो दार्वान् कोकनदाश् च ये ॥
क्षत्रिया बहवो राजन्न् उपावर्तन्त सर्वशः ॥
अभिसारीं ततो रम्यां विजिग्ये कुरुनन्दनः ॥
उरशावासिनं चैव रोचमानं रणे ऽजयत् ॥

क्षत्रियान् क्षत्रिय-ऋषभःkṣatriyān kṣatriya-ṛṣabhaḥthe kshatriyas, bull among kshatriyas,
व्यजयल् लोहितं चैवvyajayal lohitaṃ caivaconquered, and Lohita
मण्डलैर् दशभिः सहmaṇḍalair daśabhiḥ sahawith its ten districts;
ततस् त्रिगर्तान् कौन्तेयोtatas trigartān kaunteyothen the son of Kunti [conquered] the Trigartas,
दार्वान् कोकनदाश् च येdārvān kokanadāś ca yethe Darvas and the Kokanadas, [who were there] —
क्षत्रिया बहवो राजन्न्kṣatriyā bahavo rājannmany kshatriyas, O king,
उपावर्तन्त सर्वशःupāvartanta sarvaśaḥsubmitted from every side;
अभिसारीं ततो रम्यांabhisārīṃ tato ramyāṃthen the beautiful Abhisari
विजिग्ये कुरु-नन्दनःvijigye kuru-nandanaḥthe descendant of Kuru conquered,
उरशा-वासिनं चैवuraśā-vāsinaṃ caivaand the inhabitant of Urasha,
रोचमानं रणे अजयत्rocamānaṃ raṇe ajayatRochamana, he overcame in battle.

अनुवाद

Then the bull among kshatriyas conquered the Kashmiri heroes, the kshatriyas, and Lohita with its ten districts. Then the son of Kunti [conquered] the Trigartas, the Darvas, and the Kokanadas — many kshatriyas, O king, submitted from every side. Then the descendant of Kuru conquered the beautiful Abhisari and overcame in battle Rochamana, the inhabitant of Urasha.
