अनुवाद

The citizens, learning that the Pandavas were departing, gathered together, overwhelmed with grief, and rebuked Bhishma, Vidura, Drona, and Kripa again and again. Free from fear, they said: "There is no family, no us, no home left where the sinful Duryodhana, sustained by the son of Subala, Karna, and Duhshasana, seeks to seize this kingdom. Where a wicked man with wicked helpers craves power, there is no lineage, no good custom, no dharma, no gain — so whence could happiness come? Duryodhana hates his elders, has cast off good conduct and friends, is greedy, proud, base, and cruel by nature. The earth cannot be ours where he is king. Let us all go instead wherever the Pandavas go: they are compassionate, great of soul, have conquered their inner enemies, are modest, renowned, and devoted to dharma."
