अनुवाद

As Maitreya spoke thus, Duryodhana only smiled, struck his thigh — shaped like an elephant's trunk — with his hand, and began scratching the ground with his foot. Saying nothing, the evil-minded one stood with his face somewhat lowered. Seeing that he would not listen and kept scratching the earth, anger entered Maitreya. Having touched water, his eyes reddened with anger, he cursed the son of Dhritarashtra: 'Since you disregard me and refuse to heed this word, obtain at once the fruit of your pride. A great war born of your enmity will arise, in which mighty Bhima will shatter your thigh with blows of his mace.' When this had been said, Dhritarashtra began to appease the sage: 'Let this not come to pass.'
