अनुवाद

In a single day, the wise Mandhatri, ever standing firm in dharma, conquered the whole earth with its oceans, mines, and cities — by decree alone. With the sacrificial monuments of his rites with their dakshinas, great king, the four-cornered earth was covered; nothing remained uncovered. It is said that this great-souled one gave to the brahmins ten thousand padmas of cows. During a twelve-year drought, he, great of soul, brought down rain for the growth of crops before the very eyes of Vajrapani. With his arrows he crushed and slew the great lord of Gandhara of the lunar line, who roared like a great storm cloud. The four kinds of beings were conquered by him, king, the great-souled one; by his own austerity and splendor he also established the worlds. Here is his place of divine sacrifice, shining like the sun; behold, it lies in the most sacred land, in the midst of Kurukshetra. All this great deed of Mandhatri, and his illustrious birth, lord of the earth, I have told you, as you asked.'
