अनुवाद

Yudhishthira said: 'O Sanjaya, son of Gavalgana, was your journey here safe? We are glad to see you. In turn, I ask how you fare. I myself, O learned one, am in excellent health together with my younger brothers. O Suta, after so long a time I now receive news of the aged king of the Kurus, that descendant of Bharata. Seeing you, O Sanjaya, I feel as though I had seen the king himself — so pleasing is your presence. I hope our aged grandfather Bhishma, that descendant of Kuru endowed with great energy and the highest wisdom and ever devoted to the practices of his order, still keeps to all his former ways. I hope the magnanimous King Dhritarashtra, son of Vichitravirya, is well together with his sons. I also hope, my lord, that Somadatta is well, and Bhurishravas, and Satyasandha, and Shala, and Drona with his son, and the brahmin Kripa as well.'
