अनुवाद

"Tell us, O Grandsire, who are they?" To this question Brahma replied: "These two, endowed with the merit of asceticism, radiant with splendor and beauty, illuminating both earth and heaven, possessed of great might, pervading and surpassing all things — these are Nara and Narayana, now dwelling in the realm of Brahman, come from another world. Endowed with great strength and valor, they shine through their asceticism. By their deeds they ever further the joy of the world. Honored by gods and gandharvas, they exist solely for the destruction of the asuras. At that time the celestial beings were greatly troubled by the war raging between them and the asuras."
