अनुवाद

How then can such a man attain a blessed state? What ungrateful man has ever earned true glory? Indeed, where is his place, and where is his happiness? An ungrateful man can never win respect and affection. Salvation, too, can never be his. He who is deprived of wealth is a wretch of whom it can scarcely be said that he lives at all. Such a wretch will be unable to sustain his kinsmen and friends. Unable to repay the benefits he has received, he is bound to meet ruin. Even I am such a wretch -- ungrateful, destitute, and stained with falsehood -- because, having received the objects I sought from my teacher, I am unable to carry out his command.
